Whether it’s ripping a set of quirky jigs and reels, adding lush three-part harmonies to traditional folk ballads, or cracking up an audience with stories from the road, House of Hamill delivers a show that captivates the audience from the very first note.

Burning Bridgit Cleary’s Rose Baldino and Enter the Haggis’ Brian Buchanan first got together on stage at the 2014 Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City and later formed the duo House of Hamill. Four years and hundreds of shows later, the duo added bassist Caroline Browning.

Today, Pennsylvania-based House of Hamill are a staple on festival stages across the United States and have shared their music and stories on major folk stages nationwide. Their version of “Pound a Week Rise” topped the charts of American folk DJs, and the video of their all-fiddle cover of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” garnered more than 16 million views on Facebook, where it was shared over 400,000 times. Their latest album, Folk Hero, was named #5 Top Album and Top Artist for January and February 2022, perfectly capturing the frenetic energy and eclecticism of their ever-engaging
