On display through two galleries at the historic village of Tauranga is the Stitch-a-Plenty – the 2022 National Embroidery Exhibition for ANZEG – the New Zealand Embroiderers Guild Association. Organized in conjunction with the ANZEG Biennial Conference and the National School of Embroiderers, the exhibition comprises four judged sections – Contemporary, Traditional, Founders and Youth, three of which are open to all embroiderers and textile artists. The works are diverse, encompassing original design and innovation, primarily using textiles and stitch. Come find out at The Incubator Gallery and the People’s Gallery – Toi ka rere. The exhibition is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until August 14.
